Gender Discussion

On the 14^th of June, the 6B visited the ”Radiokulturhaus” to participate in a discussion with experts on gender issues. Four discussion partners and a host guided the discussion. Many school classes from different schools took part in the gender talks. The experts wanted us to make statements and wanted to know if we are treated equally at our school. The main topics we discussed about were ”gender role“ and ”equal status“. It was interesting to hear about different opinions from other children our age. Many people intervened. Even after having returned to class, the discussion continued at school.

We all think it is a very interesting topic and we enjoyed the excursion.
